The Goal – The purchase of a fleet of our autonomous ready vehicles for the purpose of increasing its connected and autonomous vehicle testing capability operating out of the Culham Science Centre in Oxfordshire.

The Proposal – To deliver our StreetDrone Twizy and StreetDrone eNV200. Our conversions of the Renault Twizy and Nissan eNV200. It is noteworthy to mention the vehicles are using Project Aslan open source autonomous stack which is able to host software from other sources, fit/test a wide range of sensors and is equipped to support vehicle-to-infrastructure communications.

The Outcome – UKAEA’s RACE now has the capacity, capability and vehicles for research and development institutions using our platform to carry out tests in both a controlled space (Testbed UK with UTACproving ground) and a semi-controlled physical environment.
